Randwick Campus Redevelopment

In my time with Lendlease Building, I was fortunate to be part of the facade team in creating an Integrated Acute Services Building. The experience was valuable in understanding tolerances and real-life constraints of construction. It also gave me a greater understanding of how to design with safety and build process considered. It was also really insightful to work with managing Architects, BVN to see how design outcomes were managed and balanced with construction goals.

I was responsible within a team for:

  • Coordinating panel installation

  • Quality control

  • Construction design resolution.

Programs Used:

  • Aconex

  • Revit

‘Welcome to the Engine Room.’

“The Integrated ASB is the first major upgrade to the Prince of Wales Hospital in 25 years, delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure that will support new and innovative approaches to acute healthcare and provide staff with purpose-designed and built facilities that support contemporary clinical practice.

Health-related academic and translational research spaces will be collocated with clinical services. These include laboratories and spaces to support collaboration and the testing and trailing of new models of care and innovative treatments”

The development is a joint collaboration between NSW Health and UNSW.
